Happy National Day!!

Happy National Day, Singapore!! Yesterday, a couple of us as a cell went to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the Day of His Power, to pray for our island, our nation, our home. It was great as Pastor Jenn and the J21 band led us into a time of worship. The other pastors of the J21 network led us into segments of prayer and communion.

Before the event, Eunice and Hadi were on the same train as me and we took quite a number of photos. Funny and I guess we had fun. Eunice is really really blur lor..... My good pals in RP:

Eunice still in deep thoughts.....

Though it was quite filled up with people, our cell group sat together! LOL! Thank God for that. Although I didn't go for FOP, but I guess, I'm glad to see that people really see the urgency for praying for the nation, etc. Looking at the videos and my encounter at that point in time, praying for the country I really feel that I need to go, were moments that I've kept.

It was good and refreshing. I really enjoyed prayer yesterday. It was such a joy to pray. Looking forward, I was thinking of the plans He has for me. And I wonder if it will come to pass. Seeking for bigger challenges and fulfilling small ones now. Everything seems to fall into place right now. Learnt about true Servanthood Leadership through the prayers we've made. Though SA has been emphasizing about servanthood leadership all these while, I felt that none of us are like servants. Absolutely none. In fact, we said it so often that we are blinded by many other things.

People asked whether I'm ever disappointed in regards to the recent SA elections, I guess I knew God's plan and of course I didn't feel disappointed. Knowing that I've nothing much to learn in the committee, all I know is that I want to serve. Serving makes people grow. Through the toughest times, I guess God is making me strong and I've to trust Him. Through that prayer segment, I pray that God will always make me a servant and display His works in my cell, my workplace, my school and my family.

Stayed at home all day to rest. Felt like cycling but Val wasn't free to. Hadi and I also wanted to go out but I was lazy and tired. The great experience we had yesterday can never be replaced by physical moments. Glad to have some fellowship with the rest yesterday at Bugis. Sent Justin back home via my dad's car and I guess we enjoyed our trip as well. Praise God for the safe journey and a great fellowship time with my buddy.

None can compare to Your greatness, holiness, love, grace, mercy, righteousness, faithfulness! None can compare, none can compare to You, Jesus.

Be Blessed!

In God's love,
History Maker
