Chinese New Year + Music Production

This year's CNY seems to be abit boring as my family can't really celebrate due to my grandma's death last Dec. In any case, I'm quite happy as I was driving my dad's Honda since CNY's eve till today. From home to Seng Kang, Botanic Gardens, Plaza Singapura, Bishan, Tampines via CTE & PIE!! Covering half Singapore soon. =)

Thank GOD for the ample time for Sarah, Carrie and I to finish up that Music Production. Really hope that we can make an impact with this song. Kept humming the song for today and enjoying it while driving to Botanic Gardens. Had lunch at Phoenix Hotel and was the first time I park at a carpark which require me to drive up a slope and insert the cashcard!! After lunch, I drove to PS and parked at the carpark. It's pretty cool as I don't need to take out my cashcard!! Drove round and round up to the 5th level. Collected tickets and watched "I Not Stupid Too" with my mum, sis, sis's bf, 2nd aunt and grandma. Then sent them home and send sis's bf home then headed home.

What a day of driving. Seems fun. Kinda enjoyed driving today. But hope to drive to Woodlands when the new campus is up. Coz of the long journey, I might just SCREAM along the way to school. 1 more year to graduation. Hope it comes real soon. Hoping to work after graduation.

Gonna rest more before the day starts on Thursday with UT - System Analysis & Design (SAD)..... starting the day with a SAD test. Anyway, this is the only time I can recover from my sleepless nights. Till next time I blog.....

You'll Never Be Replaced!!

Yes!! You'll Never Be Replaced!! A New Year, a New Beginning! Carrie, Sarah and I formed a team for our Music Appreciation 2nd Assignment. Our task is to compose a 3-minute track. To date, we composed the song and it took about 5 minutes plus.

It was Sarah's first experience in Song Writing and she wrote the entire song with the melody in thought. I figured the chords structure and set the dynamics while Carrie played the keyboard and using Garageband, we can create fantastic pieces. This is indeed a rare opportunity and our work will be compiled into a CD with all the other team's pieces. I'm sure it's a fun and learning experience for my team.

God, You'll never be replaced!! As we use this song, we are really thankful for Your provision, Father. We never expect to get it done and it's by your grace and mercy. Thanks Pastor Jenn for the affirmation and comments for this song. I hope that I can sing it in cell, youth service in time to come.

I'm getting tired and need to be recharged! Lord, teach me to hear You. Remind me that You can never be replaced and will never be replaced!

Blessings

Blessings!! Nothing beats the blessings from God and everyone!!

Since last Friday, after sending my laptop for repair, my life has been going through the ups and downs. 14th Jan marks the day of RP Open House 2006. For that 4 days, I did full shift for Student Ambassadors, doing Tour Guiding and Emceeing. Collected my laptop on Monday, 16th Jan, with a new Hard Disk, new hinge and new speaker. Went back to Asus on Wed and changed my external CD Writer. Then went back to school to download all the software needed, though I got lessons, I didn't attend as I was too tired.

Amazingly, many blessings passed me by and I was counting. I didn't need to report back to ENC (Army) for my case and it was resolved. Aurelia mei bought me a notebook to journal my thoughts and this helped me for these few days. Though I haven't pen down my thoughts yet, God has somehow spoke to me through many people. Thanks Aure and Justin for being there when I needed you! Especially Justin for the talk last Sat and great dinner we had.

Creating of music was great! Carrie, Sarah and I spent time thinking and thankfully, the lyrics were out yesterday night. Hope our plans will work. Carrie and Sarah, thanks for being my project mates and hope this song will be a hit!! Thanks to the others who had made impact in my life and I'm beginning my new journey with God.

Be right back for more happenings and photos!! A new life with nothing on my laptop. Somehow, God is telling me, a new start with new direction. Continuing to listen to Him and thanks to Peng Chye for the guide for journaling.

Be Blessed!!

Sushi + Dying of Hair!

It was a rainy day since yesterday and this morning was my Web Application UT. Guess it's so cooling that I fell sick. Anyway, had a nice time meeting Doreen and we had Sushi for dinner at Toa Payoh and a great time of fellowship. Today, she dyed her hair and it's radical!

Met Doreen at around 12pm and it was raining cats and dogs. We were supposed to go cycling but in the end, was stuck at my place as it continued pouring. Cooked instant noodles and put my remaining breakfast into the noodles and that was my lunch. Played Maple Story [wah, the best to clear more levels on a rainy day] and waited for the rain to stop. But it didn't. Went for our dinner at 5pm plus and had a great sushi feast! The chawamushi, tamago, ebi and more!!

After today's hectic day, went out with Rachael and Carl for dinner at Funan's Swensens. Ate Chicken Baked Rice and had loads of fun. Rachael kept teasing me. So mean. Carl was just sharing about being low profile. Maybe I should start planning to be low profile. In any case, after the dinner, I went to Chinatown Point to meet Doreen to see the progress of her dyed hair. Took some photos and she was shocked to see the color of her hair!! Now it really looked like mine. How cool right??

I guess it's just the beginning of having such a radical hairstyle and hope to have more fun in my last year in Campus. 1 more year before graduation. How cool is that?? I can't wait to work and make money and get a Honda Civic VTI [Manual]. =)

Thank God for the awesome peace and love. I'm glad You came.

Set Free!!

Called up ENC this morning regarding my IPPT issue. I was asked to report ENC on 18th Jan though. During my 3rd meeting in school, I received a call and the person just told me that I'll need to take IPPT and if I fail, I would need to attend RT.

It was in a rush but I know all I need to do now is to train up and make sure I pass my IPPT. This simply means that I don't need to report back since they called up and ask me to wait for my IPPT window to be opened.

Praise God for the wonderful call. I promise that I'll fulfill that promise I've made to Him. Thanks to all who encouraged me and prayed for me. All these cannot just happen till you prayed!!

Praise be to God, our Heavenly Father.

A New Beginning!

Truly, this year will be a year of changes, year of refreshing and year of blessings. I know what lies ahead of me and I'm really blessed by many of you all! Did my first Quiet Time of the year and I was quite shocked that I'm still learning more and more. In fact, God always look at us and wants to talk to us, communicate with us. Sometimes, He will say, put away your guitar, just talk to Me. I wanna hear you speak. Sometimes, He will say, My son, I wanna talk to you now. Listen.

Woke up in the afternoon by Shenny's call. I guess my friends have the habit of waking me up. Or else, means I'm dreaming too much. Whatever. lol. Anyway, Ezen and I were supposed to cycle today and we arranged to meet around 4:30pm. Her place is around Kembangan area and it's connected to my area via a park connector. Praise God!! Ezen needed some help to fix her bed as it was loose. Went to her nice lovely place and helped her out. Kinda cool and also fixed her computer stuff too. Just as we were about to take our leave to cycle, her mum called her and wanted to see cars. I tagged along even though we didn't manage to cycle. I'm glad I went as we could chat more and see cars, understand cars better, etc. Ended that session around 9pm plus..... Ate dinner with her family at the coffeeshop downstairs. Had a blessed time with Ezen and knew more about her family background.

Hope I wasn't irritating to her as my msn messages irritates her especially when I said I'm bored. Kinda negative message to type in. From now on, I'll change. If I'm bored, I shall spend more time studying, praying, fellowship with others, etc. In any case, Ezen shall be my cycling buddy!! Hope to see you soon, Ezen. Probably this week??

Ended my day with a cup of lipton tea that my mum made for me. Hope to have more rest before starting a new day of school!! Trying to plan my time properly in order to honour God and in order that I can stay out of trouble or mess!! Focus, that's all I need now. Thank God for the wonderful little experience with You. Though I cannot exactly hear You or really feel You but I know You're there always. May I be restored, refreshed and revived! Love You, Jesus..... Be my best friend and hope to know You more!!

Be Blessed!!

Cell Out! : New Year Day Gathering!

Dinner was served at Peng Chye's place today and the cell gathered. Those who went had a great feast. Recalling, Gladys, Wen Jie, Jac Seah, Jac Lin, Calo, Gab, Julian, Jun Lynn, Hwee Tng, Debbie, Susan and I were at his house celebrating the New Year, official change of leadership in Poly Cell and Peng Chye's little baby!!

As usual, we had a feast!! Crabs, Turkey, Prawns, Squids and more! Dessert: Ice Cream! We took some pics of the fellowship but didn't manage to get a pic of the cell. It's okay! We have lots of chances for the next few weeks. It's a new start where new faces we see, old faces they go. I'm glad to see the cell moving this few months in a unique and powerful way. The cell has its unique dynamics and I hope I can understand and appreciate it further.

I woke up at 9am plus at Gab's house this morning and came home to take a bath and decided to nap. In the end, I played Maple Story!! That's pretty unusual of me, being influenced by my sister and her bf. Even my mum got influenced too. Looks like my place has becomed the next LAN shop. Oops. Was a cooling day but too bad, I didn't get any sleep after I came home from Gab's place. What a waste!!

Anyway, settled most of the stuff and left the Army case already. Putting it in God's hands and I hope He'll deliver me. Gathering of the Peas, let's excel in year 2006. I hope to see God moving mightily in this cell though I know most of us are graduating, but this cell will never die, will never be of lack.

Praise God for His blessings and all honour goes to Him.

Happy Blessed New Year 2006!!

Be Blessed!!
