Besides these, I believe that God has been really blessing me.

Birthday Gathering + Fellowship!!

Having said that I'm turning 24 on 24th November, I decided to hold a birthday gathering, inviting friends from my school and church. Gathering is mainly by invitation only since my place can only hold less than 30 people. Anyway, my cell came and I really appreciate it.

It must be fun when it comes to becoming 24 as I've realized that time passes very fast, indeed, too fast for a matter of fact. I shall let the pictures speak while thinking through of what to write here.

As promised, I have to put this on my blog. My beloved sis, Peifen bought me this! Posted by Picasa

As my sister wrote on her blog, I had to put this on my blog and yeah, it's like Levi's. LOL. I'm kinda shocked when I received this from her. It's quite unique and thx to my beloved Peifen. I had two cakes by my family and berries! WoW, it's a fattening day.

My second birthday cake. - Thx Berries again! Posted by Picasa

I had two birthday cakes as my sis and berries bought one cake each. I was amused by it and I really appreciate the hard work made. Seldom have two cakes. Looks like it's a cool thing on my 24th birthday.

Berries!! Thanks for celebrating with me!! Love ya lots! Posted by Picasa

Gathering of the Peas ~ Poly Cell + UR members! Posted by Picasa

The two groups of friends that came to my gathering. Although some of them didn't come, it's okay coz you have missed the best curry and other food! Most of all, the cake is really really nice!! I hope I can have another gathering next year! LOL!

The ultimate Curry Pork!! Trust me, it's nice! Posted by Picasa

Ultimate Curry Pork! My friends like the curry the most I guess, based on their thoughts and other stuff. I really like the curry a lot. Too bad, it left very little by the time they left. Games were on its way and we had lots of fun!

Anyway, I got sabotaged by my own Berries!! Hey, you all really bullied me. Hmmm, I don't bully them anyway. =) Thanks for the nice cream, esp to Aizhen! Anyway, I received quite a number of presents and bought myself an IXUS 750 as my birthday present.

Compassion!

Compassion..... that's all we need..... after the sermon, I realised that I used to have that passion for God. That unique passion driven by my first love and looking through my organizer reminds me of lots of people, who had gone through discipleship under my previous youth ministry.

What is compassion?? A passion after God's heart!! Ever since the worship seminar, a lot of things changed and I believe that God is changing me too. Lots to come and I'll mention some of the key points in my next few postings.

For now, just think about this. Do you have compassion? Do you want it? Listen to His voice and obey!

Paradise Worship Seminar + Band Fellowship!

Early this morning, the band was having our breakfast at Centrepoint McDonald's. It was 9:30am and we were waiting for each other. About 15 of us were there and I believe we really learn something. For Justin and me, we really learn something. We even shared about it and I found out that he has a nice song!! Will ask him to get the full song and perform someday!

It wasn't like any other worship seminar. It was all about God. As Paul, the speaker, was preaching, all he mentioned was the passion to build God's house. And I believe that's the ultimate aim! He shared about being more passionate for God more than music. As he was sharing, I felt convicted and pressed in, to seek God even more. I felt that peace hovering over me and I felt comforted. During the song writing workshop, I met someone. It's Sophie!! I've not seen her for ages. I remembered that we were quite close. Anyway, her church is so near COOS. She's serving at Faith Methodish Church (which Janice Grace Pek Li Li is in too.) and it's great to see her around. I hope to see her soon as we share the same passion of writing songs.

God seems to piece everything together for me now. For both worship seminars (the one at Faith Methodist Church), I've met people that I wish I could meet. God seems to answer all my prayers in secret. Here I am, while God is answering all my prayers, all I did was to keep failing Him, again and again. Always break my promises and He kept His. I've decided to discipline myself and I wanna know God even deeper and to grow strong in Him.

Band fellowship was held at Vanessa's place. WoW!! Her place is really big! *Hint: seems that our band members are quite rich*. Nevertheless, we had a great time playing games, eating and all the laughter being poured out! Felt relaxed and now back to work, work and work!! Hope to have more intimate time with the band as we move along together. Let us learn from today's seminar and go forward to our goals.

Let's not turn back and let us be passionate for the Lord once again. Let us be listeners and listen to one another. Let us give the best to the Lord. Not 99% but 100%!! Thanks for being a great bunch of people!

Be Blessed!!

The ONE!!

It's been a busy week thus I haven't got the time to blog for almost one week!! Since last Thursday, I've been busy with WSC (World Skills Competition) training, meetings and church activities. Last Friday, a few of us participated in the night cycling by RP. Rendall, Aizhen, Jane, Tricia and I spent our Friday night, having fun and our usual chats!

Since Friday morning till Saturday night, I've not been sleeping and sustained till after cell dinner, went home and SLEEP!! Anyway, Saturday's sermon by Pastor Glenn Lim was awesome! Love is in the air, part 2!! My entry is titled, "The ONE!!" and I've to share what I was feeling then. When Pastor Glenn was preaching, I really feel comforted and started thinking about my life. I've been living a life without direction for these few years, losing confidence in myself and even lost at times. Through these 2 weeks, I've learnt that accountability is important and I've been meeting up my accountability constantly and we've been praying together. I hope this can improve it.

I remembered telling him about "The ONE"..... As we were chatting, 2 person came to my mind. Coz these two persons had sort of touched my life in the midst of our friendship. I knew both of them in weird scenarios. The weirdest thing of all is that I couldn't remember the happenings during the first camp I've attended in COOS. Which camp?? That's for you to find out. LOL. Anyway, I knew her from there and I find her special. Even till now, we are still good friends, good buddies! Shall not tell you who she is. Keep it a secret. Haha. LOL. The other girl, I knew her through a worship conference. I remembered that it was because of a pen that we started knowing each other. It was such a hilarious moment. I never thought that we will make contact after all. I gave her a note behind my namecard and from then, we chatted. Sounds cool??

But through it all, when I start thinking of "The ONE", I can only relate to ONE person. His name is Jesus. Without Him, I am nothing. Why Him?? Why not the person I desire?? For it is written, "Seek ye FIRST(not second, not third) the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all THESE(what we ask for, of coz must be biblical!) things shall be added unto you.", thus we don't lose out in anything. In fact, in Him, we are more than conquerers! We are heirs of God, His children! I couldn't settle for anything less. Serving Him is more than a chore or a routine. The only thing I lack now is FOCUS!!

Had the chance to go out with Aizhen, Tricia, Ernest and Darren last night for some fun. Shall not tell you much as I don't wanna mention much. But I guess we really had fun and hopefully, we learnt something out of it. Thanks for the fun, Aizhen.

Gotta prepare my music appreciation report and professional profiling report soon. See you all around soon. Busy weeks ahead.

Be Blessed!!
