Wow! I don't know whether is this timely or what?? I caught a fever of 37.9 degrees yesterday after going for movies, window shopping at Funan and Davis guitar shop. Everything just fall into place. Didn't get to lead worship today at cell. Maybe it's a good thing. God has His plans and it's time to rest..... means it's time to rest!!
I had the privilege to rest, perspire and cover myself in thick blanket!! My brain was 'dead' for the day and was thinking about stuff throughout the day. Anyway, I'm recovering and sort of thinking about my life throughout my rest. Life's been interesting. Really feel privileged to be able to work with Bey on the Youth Guitar Worship Workshop which is starting in May. Kinda excited since I've been teaching guitar in church last year but this time, it would be different from the previous times.
Fever reminds me of Fever '04 when I went to Cambodia with the 15 of them and since then, my life has been changing and trying to accept things around me and be less critical. But at times, I'm just as critical as many of them would. Rest is what I need for now. Many events are coming up and if I don't rest, I'll not have a chance to.....
I'm looking at the Takamine TK-40, CTP-1 Cool Tube and the DSP Preamp after I visited Davis yesterday. TK-40 is a minor upgrade from my current one with digital tuner in-built which costs S$150, Cool Tube is a slightly major upgrade with tuner and its warm sound through the tube which costs S$260 and finally, the DSP is a major upgrade with tuner which costs S$350.
Was thinking to save more money and the TK-40 meets my needs more than the others since I don't usually use the other functions very often. Still deciding and hopefully, John has lobangs since he look out for all these so often.
Okay, time to rest if not..... someone will sure nag at me..... Remember, at times when you really need rest, you must rest! If not, you'll be like me, lying on the bed with fever to remind yourself about rest.
Be Blessed!
