Faith to Finish!

It's been a few days since I last blogged. Didn't know what to blog even though there were a series of events passing by my school days. It was great as my team members were usually Cedric, Alan, Jane & Evieon. At least not so bored, Music Appreciation class was happening. Thursday cell at PC's place was really a start of refreshing moment. Yesterday's sermon was really timely.

Entitled "Faith to Finish!" by Pastor Benny Ho.

Luke 17:3 - 10

Side points to take and learn. Instead of asking for increasing of faith, ask for the increasing of faithfulness. We already have that faith since it is written, "Faith as small as a mustard seed, can move mountains", and how small is a mustard seed? I'm sure our faith exceeds that.

Faithfulness is our response to our faith. It's what we do with our faith.
Faithfulness is being loyal and obedient to the person we put our trust in.

Faith grows as we finish what God wants us to do!

Ecclesiastes 7:8
- Patience helps us to finish
- Patience is better than pride

2 things to note:
- "Go..."
- "... show
yourselves to the priests."

Keep our eyes on Jesus
- He is the author and finisher of our faith.

Genesis 12 - 15 [3 Specific Things]
1) A Compromise in his spirit
2) A Conflict in his emotion
3) A Confrontation in the physical

Faith is believing what we can't see. It's never easy and it really takes the courage to take that step. As I was walking down the aisle, I felt like running back to God. I went for the altar call yesterday and realised how much I have missed His goodness and greatness. There were many aspects I could have improved or had that faithfulness to complete but didn't. There were times where God showed me the many dreams, visions and hopes I could depend on but never did I ask Him the approach to take.

As I was kneeling at the feet of His throne, I wondered again..... What's my purpose in COOS, RP, Family and other aspects of my life?? The prayers were really speaking into my contrite heart as I worshipped God at His feet. Amazingly, during worship time, Pastor Glenn mentioned about Raising the Praise. God spoke to me at one of the music practice sessions about two words - Raise & Praise. Note that Praise has the word Raise in it.

Oh yeah, Thanks to Cheryl for coming up to me and asking if I'm alright. Really appreciate your kindness. Thanks for being an encourager and commenting on my blog all the time.

His presence was overwhelming in the auditorium till I can't fathom. Nothing can beat His love, His presence and His everything. I wanna know Him more & more.

Putting my trust in Him for this semester, year, life!!

Awaiting for my scholarship now. Wondering what should I really do about it??
Thinking of that iPod Nano now..... Ian, why did you buy?? *sigh*
If I really need it then say. Haha. LOL.

Birthday's coming in a month plus time. Hopefully, I can fulfill my wishlist this year.

Serving our Saviour,
Kenny Ong

Be Blessed!
