Worship Ministry Advance 2008

Finally, COOS Youth Worship Ministry Advance 2008 ended..... with a comma (,) as Jenn mentioned. The journey is ON for us as we unite as ONE for the Audience of ONE. It started on Friday evening with fellowship over dinner. Chris led us during worship and we had quite a full band though. It was the beginning of change in our ministry.

Now they know who wrote for them on behalf of the Comm.
=) Be Blessed!

Jamming!

During the entire Advance, we had opportunities to share with each other during mealtimes, devotion - group based and the late nights, just to know each other better. Even during PSP, God revealed many things about the ministry and healed us from all these. This is just part 1. Many more to go before we get super united!

Enjoying moments!

What an experience.....

A week ago, God came and touched my heart and restored the broken areas during Worship. While I was facilitating the worship session, God mended my heart. He filled it up with love. And confirmed many things during then at the Fuel Up Camp. Coming to the Advance, I seriously think that it was AWESOME! The night before the Advance, I couldn't sleep. God kept me awake just to reflect and pray. So I did. When I step into Salvation Army campsite, I just feel that this Advance will be a breakthrough for our ministry esp with the theme we set and strongly agreed.

During Saturday morning, Jenn led the session and we worship in the dark. It was an awesome experience. God showed me some moves for the dance. It was a little bit like ballet. So I was too shy to show it to anyone esp to Him. In it, He showed me stars, sand and Him dancing around me like I was a kid surrounding by His love.

On Sunday morning, Evie led worship and Jenn asked us to prophesy to one another. This broke my heart. ZG prophesied over me and I didn't really mention this to him before. He said that God has planted in me a heart for Evangelism and what he prophesied also confirmed about my current job, etc. Isn't God amazing? In the afternoon, we had feet washing by Jenn and Josh. Again, God ministered to me when Josh said abt me coming to COOS and all the struggles, etc. And the statement that really made me feel so encouraged - your joy can be your hurts and your hurts can be your joy too. To me, that referred mainly in my relationship with Rach as well as other matters. But it's true. Rach's my joy. She's a great friend.

Back to the experience..... Gee Yean prayed for me and I'm really excited even though I wanna share it, I can't piece it now. So I'll share when I'm ready. Anyway, I cried so badly during that 3 days coz God kept ministering to me. Can't believe it but it's true. I wonder how can I please God and all I know is to love Him. Surrender all rights to Him. Nothing comes easy but with Jesus, it's easier. LOL! Oh yeah, anointing..... The anointing of the different layers of leadership was really a blessing. I find it as though the dream I had was fulfilled.

Jenn anointed Josh & Chris. Josh & Chris anoints Lynn, Evie, Nat and Gab. Then the four of them anointed those who are currently playing on the platform. Then we (those currently playing), anointed the interns and they are super oily. LOL! Coz so many of us anointed them. Then John anointed Jenn. And great, a dream I had just passed! Isn't God so cool?

Next..... The games!

The games were fun! - At least for my group coz we really really enjoyed it with loads of trust, fun and learning from one another. Though I was pretty tired, they just helped by giving those encouragements! I guess there are stuff that cannot be really explained or expressed coz it's a moment and experience. As for me, this time God really moved me and till me, best of all, showed me His love, allowed me to feel His tangible presence and releasing words of affirmation from so many people.

Spider WEB!!

Lalalalalala..... Singing Time!

Trust is needed. LOL!

Oh yeah..... not to forget that we celebrated Tass's birthday! Photos all around.....

Surprise, Tass!

Oh.....

Evie praying for Tass!

Lift up our hands.....

How can I keep from singing His praise? I'll praise Him when I win, praise Him when I lose. Either way, I'll honor Him with all my actions and attitudes. Indeed, this Advance really broke my heart. Just simply did and I'm glad I'm part of this Advance. And hope everyone felt the same too. I can't wait for the next one! =)

Be Blessed!
