Graduation Thoughts

In a matter of a few days, I'll be officially graduating from Republic Polytechnic. I've received my results and I'm pleased to inform you that I've got what I wanted. I asked for my Final GPA to be 3.7 and it flashed across my eyes as I read them. GPA: 3.70. PRAISE GOD!

Though I'm graduating from RP, I didn't feel that I want to leave. 3 years passed as if it was yesterday. Remembering the agony of trying to push through during the 1st two years. I remembered that I wanted to give up studies during my 2nd year. I'm glad that Jesus is with me throughout. In fact, in my 2nd year, I did very well. I had 9 'A's for 9 modules. 8 IT modules and 1 Music module. I can't believe it. It was a year of love and grace to me.

In my 3rd year, though it wasn't as pleasing as it should be, but I thank God for the many things that happened that made me realized that grades aren't as important (I'm not saying this coz I got good grades) anymore as I'm convinced that God is good all the time. By the way, all the best to those who are applying for University and study hard. For me, I'm not applying University but I'll be working and slogging for a while before moving into something different. Tell you more in a while, but not now.

Pasta of the day!

*Celebration for my good grades*

In fact, this is only the beginning of my real, true life. To live a lifestyle of renewal and changed man. I used to think that grades can satisfy me, during my last few weeks of RP life, my thoughts changed. Grades cannot change the fact that I need something more, far more than education. Education is good. Not saying that it's bad. But more importantly, why are we living on this Earth? I believe I've found the answer. Have you?

I'm looking forward to speaking in the Student Forum at the International Problem-Based Learning Symposium 2007 as a Student Panelist. It is my great honor and privilege to serve the school one last time before speaking at the RP Graduation Ceremony 2007. Believing that God, the Father, is gracious and giving me chances to make an impact, chances to meet people's needs, His ways.

Oh yeah, some photos since last Sunday..... before going to Monthly Sonic Gathering (MSG), Fish & Co Chill-Out with Rach and some cool pics of Justin's drink at Starbucks - too tired to take Lynn, Justin and myself though we had a great time fellowshipping.

For now, I'm just gonna concentrate on my SMU exam, which is on next Wednesday. Oh yeah, the International PBL Symposium 2007 is also on next Wednesday (morning). Pray for me as I sit for that exam in the evening. I just want to do God and RP proud. See you all at either the RP Graduation Party or Graduation Ceremony. Loving Jesus always, no matter how tough the situation it comes.

Be Blessed!
