Semester Results + Class Allocation
Hey..... look here..... I've something to tell you all..... it's regarding my results.
Are
You
Ready??
I was praying that I could get 4.0 for my GPA [Grade Point Average] and I've got it for this semester!! [by the way, 4.0 is the highest for GPA - which means I've got all As!!] Praise the Lord!! I guess God is really merciful and gracious in my life. I couldn't have done it without Him.
Counting the blessings, I really feel super loved by Him even though I don't feel His presence all the time. What really kept me going is the story of Footprints. I'll take a pic of it when I get my IXUS 750. =)
I'm really glad that I've got into Music Appreciation and I know some of them too!! That's gonna be fun! Ultra fun this coming semester!
Blessings I've received:
1) Professional Profiling subject..... led me to my 'lobang' for part-time work and IT servicing.
2) IT Youth Award Nomination 2006
3) Serving God at baptism service as Acoustic guitarist in COOS for the first time
4) Lien Foundation Scholarship AY05/06
5) Best Overall SIT Student AY04/05 (2nd)
And many more to come!! Also thank God for Wen Yan's results. She did very well this semester. 2 As and 4 B+s. Praise the Lord. Wen Yan, this is your last semester, cherish it and do your best! God is with you always!!
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's Worship Seminar at Faith Methodist Church, Youth Service, Joshua 21 Prayer Concert and of course, the starting of the new semester!!
That's all for now! I really hope this encouraged you as I'm serving a God who meet my needs more than I asked for!!
Praise be to God!
Be Blessed.

Decision Making + Jeff's Birthday Celebration
After a night of studying, I realized that even if I don't take the test, it's okay!! The only benefit is I'll have an extra day. But I'll not be involved in my class. I pray that I'll have a good class this semester. Therefore, I've decided not to take since I know I would spend my time doing nothing. Might as well meet my friends and do some networking together!
Jeff's place is really so far! It's at Petir and it's near one of my churchmate, Jane's place. Anyway, we had lots of fun and even thrown Jeff into the pool! I would have missed his party if I was to take the exemption test. Somehow, I just lost confidence in getting an 'A' and thus chose the other route. Felt that God was also reminding me my responsibility as a student and my purpose in RP. Jeff, hope you had loads of fun too. Here are the pictures!
Berries!! Our group photo of the day!
Ah Mu (Jeff), a small birthday note for you!!
Happy Birthday Jeff! Berries cake!!
Berries Facial for Jeff!
Jeff, are you happy about the arrangement? Hope you've enjoyed the fun times we had!
Can you see who is that? Take a close look.
Overall, we really sort of 'tortured' Jeff. Smashed the cake on him, throw him into the pool and made him wear the jeans we bought for him. LOL. But I guess he's really happy! Hey Jeff, Happy Birthday and may all your dreams come true!
*Berries, the pictures are ready to be sent. Just IM me for it.
Be Blessed.

To take or not to take??
Dear Jun Hao,
We are glad to inform you that you have satisfied our criteria to take an exemption test for the module C121 Data Communication & Networking.
Please note the following details of the module exemption test.
Date: 26 Sept (Mon)
Time: 10am – 12pm
Classroom: TS05-10
Format: MCQs + fill in the blank questions + essay questions
Test fee: A non-refundable fee of S$50 will be charged for the test, regardless of the outcome of the test. Please pay by NETS at One Stop Centre by 23 Sept 05 (Fri) 5 pm. If payment is not received by then, it would be assumed that you have given up the test.
Please be punctual and bring along your pen & a calculator.
Test results will be made known to you by RP email on 28 Sept 05. Thank you.
In general, this is what will happen.
Students who score a grade ‘C’ or better will be deemed to have passed the assessment and allowed to be exempted from the module. The assessment grade will then be reflected on the result slip and transcript, and contribute towards the GPA in place of the module grade.
If you are not satisfied with the assessment grade attained, you can opt to study the module in full, instead. Students will only be allowed a single attempt at taking the exemption assessment for each module.
3.1.1 | The following grading scheme shall apply: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
|
Now, I'm in a dilemma whether to attempt or not. If I get an 'A', I'll have more time for my other modules and activities. I do have some confidence to get at least a 'B' or 'B+'. I only have 4 days to study in that case. Can someone advise me on this??
Be Blessed. [Feeling stressed]

Eventful Day!
Went to the Photography studio today. Kinda cool and checked my email there and relaxed for a while. Took a cab to Gleneagle's hospital to visit Jac Lin. But a pity, she was asleep. Gab + I took a look for a while then went off to Sim Lim to check out some stuff. Then went to Davis Guitar to get strings, etc. Then took a look at the IXUS 750 again and discovered funny functions this time. We walked from Funan to other places and each shop I go to, the prices are getting cheaper. Kinda ridiculous though.
It was quite a fruitful day today as Gab + I spent most of the time chatting and catching up. Really glad that he is serious about his guitar lessons. Hope to see more results in his faithfulness towards this course.
Gab, keep it up!!
Be Blessed.

Music Ministry Outing + Sentosa - MC Outing
Can't imagine that we practiced 6, almost 7 songs in an hour!! We had to do our sound check at 4:30pm yesterday at the auditorium and I was probably in a mess. LOL. It's my first time ever after like so many donkey years?? As I was preparing during the practice, I felt God's presence and His blessing upon us. Although we had little practice, we managed to savage the little bits which were a bit messy and covered up though. LOL. Was trying to communicate with Aurelia but failed to. Nevertheless, Jean and I had eye contact for transition and we caught Aurelia's attention too, after a while. Haha. In terms of communication, we definitely listen to each other, which is a good sign. =)
What encouraged me most??
My cell group, Gathering Of The Peas came to support me for my first time on stage!! And I'm truly encouraged as there wasn't anyone from our cell getting baptised. Their presence supported me and lifted my confidence level up to be more comfortable with what I'm using to serve and praise God.
Dinner was at church after the service. We had a good time fellowship and the music ministry outing was held at that Tiong Bahru park I think. It's near Gan Eng Seng Secondary and opposite of Tiong Bahru Plaza. We played like we never had any childhood days!! Haha..... LOL..... Pics to be uploaded soon for viewing pleasure. Overall, we had a great time fellowship, getting to bond and know each other better through our acting skills, eating of mooncakes and lighting of the paper lanterns. Indeed, we are a big and growing family.
Birthday Celebrations: Lynn & Oliver! Sorry arh, no cake so use Mooncake!!
Getting prepared for group photo!!
Group photo..... Smile!
That ended the day with Justin and I, spending most of our travelling time chatting and getting bonded with each other. Sort of get along even better as usual. Hope to get more chances like these. All of you rockz!!
It was raining this morning as I reached Harbourfront MRT and supposedly to be at Sentosa much earlier. But due to our handsome Jonathan, we were extremely late. In any case, we had great fun bonding and feasting after a series of games, treasure hunting and forfeits.
Encouragements + Appraisal to SA MC AY05/06
Forfeit!! Eliza with my friend, Keith [Thx bro] - We supposed to find 5 hulks to take 5 different pics. This is one of them.
Balloon Forfeit! Jon, go for it!
We had a great lunch and continued our games like volleyball, captain's ball and concentration. Had a little tanned during the games. Bathed and we left the place in the evening.
Our next destination was to K-Box!! Thanks Fel for the treat and I'll treat you when I receive my scholarship. =) We sang like never before. Rendall, Jonathan, Eliza, Fel and I were taking turns to sing our songs till Eliza and I made our move.
Rendall in action at K-Box!
Eliza, go for it!! Rendall, don't hide your smile!!
Jon + Kenny [First time wearing a visor, cool??]
Fel in action! She's got a great voice!
Met up with Dino for dinner while the three singing champions were enjoying their singing and waited for all of them.
Overall, I find my day relaxing and less tensed as before. Saw my module selection page and was glad that I've got the module I wanted. Music Appreciation. Praise God for it and I hope I can glorify Him as I learn more about music.
Gonna rest early. Tomorrow's another day to plan and settle lots of administrative issues. Hope to see Amphora for practices soon and of course, my beloved cell on Thursday!!
Be Blessed!! Everyday! It's You I live for!!

Fina + Prayerwalk at QSS!
Got a chance to touch the IXUS 750 today too!! So happy!! But the quoted price is S$780. Wah!! Too expensive for me at this time. Waiting for good opportunity and promotions. Hope to get it with a 1GB SD Card + some cleaning kit for that. Hopefully a dry box too. Hmmm, while I was thinking about that, I was thinking about the mission trip too. The only way to deal with it is to think properly of how to handle my finances. I'm still hesitating which I think it's not the right thing to do though. But with my current health, it seems daunting to go due to my recent health problems. I guess I'll just have to talk to my leaders about this though.
Played the guitar for Lim Min as he was leading worship for the prayerwalk for QSS! Thank God that I was able to play since I was attending the prayerwalk session. It was a fruitful time as I was really touched during the worship. As I was thinking through, I have to make a decision between Poly & Sec 1 cell after the review with Debbie, Sharon and Ian. The worship session was a session where I knew I must put God first. Now is the other crossroad period. I need to pray + seek Him to know which route to take. It's tough but it has to be made. Looks like I've to meet PC and some others like Peter, etc.
In the next few hours, I'll be serving as the acoustic guitarist for baptism service. Practice starts at 3pm. I hope God will speak to me even in my dreams. It can be quite scary to ask for that but I really want God to fill my heart with the desire and passion to fulfill the purpose He has set in my life.
Here I am, lifting holy hands
Worship You at the feet of Your throne
Here I am, bow before Your throne
I choose to worship You forever
Here I am.
Lord, here I am. I want to listen to Your voice. Change me, mould me and use me as You want me to be. Make me a servant today, daily.
Be Blessed!

Sick, Fun + Lynn's Birthday!
Lily's brother, Roy, 'hired' 3 of us. Peter, Valentina and I worked for him for 2 short days and earned S$100 each. It's pretty fun except for the hot weather that we had to endure for 2 days. Had to drink tons of water to survive the hot weather. Really praise God for the opportunity to work with Roy and Lily in a unique way. In fact, didn't know they were attending Victory Family Centre till Lily told me on Wed.
The profiling session was kinda quiet but Lily impressed me with her working experience. In fact, the minute I got home, I submitted the PP [Professional Profiling] proposal via the PP online system. When I was checking my email just now, it was approved. WoW!! I'm really glad that it's approved. Now, the hard work begins. I have to really do my best in the module since I've cleared my CE [Creative Engagement] points.
Met up with Lynn to celebrate her birthday and we had waffles at Gelare. Nice ice cream with caramel banana waffle. Hope you enjoyed it. Especially your birthday present. Wondering if you are listening to it though. I guess it's what Kor can give you for your 21st birthday. Right?? I'm sure we enjoyed it!!
Had cell just now and it ended off with a grand dinner at Peng Chye's place. It looks like his place will be our dinner outlet someday. In fact, the food is really delicious and we really love the food!! Interested food they have! Worship was really cool with our cell worship leader, Esther. Thanks for the effort in these small little ways. We really work well together. Just have the way to do it. I believe we can make it more fun!!
That's all for the 2 days I guess. Let's wait for more happenings.

Genting Flu + Rest Time!
Anyway, as promised, some of my genting trip pics. All the pics are taken using BenQ DC2300 except the first one which is using Sony Ericsson K750i. You must be thinking the shots are quite good right? Hmmm, too bad, it's not a D70.
Don't we look alike??
Self-Taken Shot of myself.
Misty Shot.
Nice Scenary?
Cool effect? Actually, it's the blue tinted glass.
Isn't my sister pretty?? =)
Our first outdoor ride. The Flying Coaster.
In the Outdoor Theme Park.
One of the nicest pic we took.
Sunflowers! They are my favourite!
My sis, Geno and my mum!
Strawberry Cheese Cake!
Overall, the trip was kinda great. Just that I didn't fully enjoy it or rather that wasn't really much of a rest period. Guess now it's really my rest time since I'm sick and can't really move much. Really enjoyed the times with my sister as we enjoyed our time together, chatting, surfing the net [replied loads of emails + msn], ate Strawberry Cheese Cake at Starbucks, shopping and many many more.
I really hope my next trip, I would have my Canon IXUS 750 so that I can take better shots and show you all more pictures. I composed a song on Friday night, the night I came back from Genting. Really cool. It's called "Here I Am". Hope I can release it one day.
Enjoy the pics. Be Blessed.
"Here I Am. Take me as I am, Lord."
