IT Services + Guitar Lessons

As I was thinking through and seeking advices, I realised that I really need to work. But I also want to enjoy my school life. I've thought of a way and I'm looking out for potential customers.

Currently, my business Bluedge Technologies haven't been really publicized or haven't been doing projects for any companies or customers. Bluedge is providing IT services for prices as cheap as S$15 now. Services includes removal of Spyware, installation of Operating System, system maintenance, upgrading, IT consultation and more! Bluedge also do hardware services too. Such as Home/Small Office Networks, Wired/Wireless. Other hardware services such as installation of devices and more. More info will be posted here. Bluedge will be coming up with its website soon.

Guitar lessons are also available at S$10 - S$15 per hour. Lesson covers mainly on practical rather than theory. The learning grounds are flexible and the use of Internet Resources are given to students too. For a limited time only, you will be given free IT consultation when you register for Guitar lessons. You have to provide your own guitar and you will get free guitar consultation on selection of guitars meant for beginners/intermediate/advanced. Available lesson day slots: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (Mainly).

I'm currently studying at Republic Polytechnic and looking for opportunities to save up for my future studies and of course, future mission trips opportunities. Hope to save up more. If you have any friends who are interested, kindly email me at revival@singmail.com

Thanks! Be Blessed!

MSN Messenger 7.5 + *scape workgroup discussion

Came back from 2 meetings today. Cypher Club had a meeting with the various IG advisors and IG Management Committee. It was kinda stressed but managed to overcome it and get on with it. I got a feeling that some advisors just simply dislike meetings conducted by students. I guess I'm alright with it as I'm already an adult. Oops.....

Clinston and I went to the *scape workgroup discussion regarding programming (events). Met new faces and kinda had a great discussion. As usual, these workgroup meetings we have usually tend to create tension and discomfort. I hope I didn't offend anyone, especially to the NUS girls who came. Exchanged contacts with those are involved, especially Events Management. Anyway, that's about it for the discussions at NYC (National Youth Council).

Home!! When I stepped into the house, I felt relaxed and heated the porridge and bathed. Ate my dinner.. 2 bowls of porridge with eggs, etc. Wah!! Filling! Had a tough time clearing my work and room. Think I need to blast my room to keep it neat and clean.

Installed MSN Messenger 7.5, MSN Plus 3.54.132 and Mess Patch 7.5.0299. Finally, this MSN is my kinda type of MSN I need. It stores my password to my designated email login. It simplifies my MSN and I simply love it!! Enjoying it and my emoticons can be added again!! LOL. Great!!

That's all for now. I gonna sleep. Got UT tomorrow!!

Past Events + Upcoming Website

The past few days were awesome! Had BBQ + Poly Forum discussion + AGM + Prayer meeting and many many more.

On thursday, I was late for Poly Forum discussion. Then Amy was like saying latecomer. LOL. We were at TN0306 while she gotta keep asking students from the other discussion space to tone down their volume. *sigh* Had a great time though. Oops, still haven't got the minutes. Wonder where is it?

Cypher BBQ was held in school on Friday and it was awesome. I meant that the food we ate. This is our first teambuilding event with the Cypher Camp committee and the previous MC. Unfortunately, only Boshi, Anand & Vincent came. The others didn't manage to attend this. Will post some pics to entice you people!!

Today, we had the Student Union/Council AGM AY05/06. It was slightly grand than last year. Finally, we've handed over the task to the new committee. I've faith in them that they will succeed. Remember, an individual will never succeed unless the team works together to fulfill the same goal, mission and vision. Cypher Club MCs took quite a number of pics and I'll leave the link here asap.

I rushed down to church and managed to catch my sec 1s and it was nice to see them each week. It really encouraged me. Thereafter, I went to the music ministry prayer meeting at Room 306. It was really a time of consecration and as we were praying, my heart felt peaceful. I believe that the Lord spoke to me and somehow I've yet to learn my lesson hard. I could only pray and wait upon Him I guess. We helped setup the stage and altar for youth service and it was really well planned and done up. *Some pics of the setup and Shawn, who made us laugh for his actions!

Generation W + Encouragements

Generation W?? What's that?

I define Generation W as Generation Weirdos! As I past these two weeks of seeking God and sometimes failing Him, I realised that this current generation of youth are kinda weird. The reaction they give, the answers they reply, are merely weird.

Sometimes, I feel that I've living in a world of emptiness. I recalled the story of Footprints. When we feel alone, we are not. God is carrying us when we see one set of footprints.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”

Then I cried whenever I'm reminded of this story. Never will I forget this when I'm alone. Especially in my Quiet Time. Yesterday, I cried. Tears flow as I prayed for a friend of mine. The conversation ended with sentences like "I don't wanna go church liao" and so on.

I really wanna thank my good and faithful friend, Hui Fen [Joelle], for spending time to listen and be there for me. Though we seldom meet, we met in an awesome way, isn't it?? I think she'll agree. Hey, Hui Fen.. Thanks for the encouragement. Study hard okay?? See you soon!

*scape was at library and SA MCs were there to help. WoW!! We even took a picture of the MCs!! Finally, got full house! Inside this pic, you will realise that Selvan dozed off.

*scape is all about youth. I've been the one of the sessions and enjoyed giving feedback! I wonder will it become what I wished for?? I really hope that I will!!

One of my mentees, Huda!! Posted by Picasa

Isn't my mentee cool?? Huda, you rox!! Remember her. She's very hyperactive and bubbly! Promoting *scape in her own nice way.

imagine*scape Questionaire Posted by Picasa & *scape goodies!! Posted by Picasa

Wow!! That time I went for the first session, the Questionaire was not even as nice as the one shown here. They even came out with the goodies!! Though I had Java Programming and UT yesterday, it was a good chance for the MCs to gather, looking at each other and relaxing at the hour.

Today's UT on Java was tricky or rather tough to a certain extent. LOL. I've slacken a lot. Better buck up!! Anyway, gotta rest soon. Got driving at 10:30am tomorrow. SAs, remember the townhall meeting at TN02 discussion space tomorrow, 4:30pm!!

Supposed to see a rainbow..... Posted by Picasa Still cannot see a rainbow..... Posted by Picasa

Jean, mission failed!! Cannot see the rainbow. Maybe too dark but I believe we were too far from it. Anyway, thanks for lending your listening ears!! Will pray for your enterprise UT tomorrow! Sleep tight, put on your bed belts!

Enjoyed my day though. Learning all about OS, etc.

Be Blessed.
