Extraordinary Week!

As FYP dateline draw near, I'm less afraid but rather, I'm drained. I fell sick since yesterday morning till now. Suspect to be caught by the flu bug suddenly. Nevertheless, it was quite a good day yesterday. Had the coolest car rides yesterday by Rachel and gotta thank her for getting me the cold tablets and tissue paper!

After lesson, Rach and I went to church for Extraordinary General Meeting. It was cool as this is kinda the first time we are attending this. It was about the church building extension project. Though I felt that it was draining my energy, I'm thankful and in awe by the end results. Thereafter, Ho Wai, Rachel and I went to Blk 85 (Bedok) for dinner/supper. Had a great time as we shared our opinions, thoughts and jokes.

There are many things that happened this week and I want to give God all the glory. Let's start from the FYP meetings everyday, especially on Monday. Shuan and I had difficulties in getting the writing of RFID and we solved it on Monday. Today, I had an email about graduation ceremony and more updates to come once confirmation arrives. I've been asked to be the valedictorian for the cohort for RP and I really think it's God's appointment and my last chance to really testify of God's goodness.

In any case, I've made new friends this week and I'm really blessed. Lots of things going through my mind now and I've to start working on my FYP again. Till then, I'm off to work and hope I recover soon. I serve an awesome God who will never forsake me. Increase my faith, my dear Lord Jesus.

1st Youth Service + Prayer@8:30am

Yesterday marks the 1st Youth Service in 2007! Pastor Derek preached about Identity Crisis and adoption. It was meaningful as I was asking about my Identity during end of last year. Everything seems to be good as God is real to me since then till now and it will last through eternity. Today, as I led worship for Prayer@8:30am, Ho Wai and I felt the Holy Spirit moving mightily and this is only the beginning.

It is good as we both felt strongly that having an agenda isn't what God really want. It was spot on when they started to share the word from God and the word was Consecrate! Consecration began and worship was in another dimension. I've never led worship in such a manner! It was really refreshing. I can't contain it. Praising God got easier, worship is simply what the whole session was. Many brought back the essence of looking to God, the Father.

As I was praying and leading the group into worship, I sensed the Holy Spirit activated in me and I'm really glad for what God has done in the midst and got me away from my FYP, blast me away with His anointing upon the many people. =) Best of all, I got to know someone today. Her name is Rachel and guess what? She's from SMU! LOL! I felt the Lord telling me about SMU during the first day of school. RP, SMU and other schools will be cells growing like crazy. None can stop this movement. Revival is sweeping through all the institutes.

Prayed for Cheryl and I hope she's feeling better now. I'm seeing a brand new year where the supernatural will take place and it is NOW! Just as I led this song "It Is Now" that for such a time as this, we can praise God in freedom! We are set free! To experience that supernatural power and see what God will do in the Youth Ministry, I invite you to come and pray with us on every Sunday (rain or shine) @ 8:30am at Blk 6C.

Nothing beats more than God's heartbeat. Lord Jesus, I ask for your renewed favor as we serve you in the things we do for you! Keep us safe in Your arms. In Jesus name, Amen!

Back To RP..... Weeks before Graduation!

Three years..... It will be soon over! My entire poly life. Wonder if I've really make good use of it to reach out to people? I think I did! But most importantly, I've known many friends, facilitators and many co-workers which made my poly life interesting!

Anyway, Happy Birthday to Joleen jie! She's been a blessing to me since Sec 1. LOL! We've all grown up. Drawing near to graduation, there are many thoughts running through my mind as I pray that I can get the IDA Scholarship. At the same time, I really hope that I can fulfill God's Will. Let's see what happens. I believe that God has the best for me. After attending SMU, I wonder I'll miss RP. Definitely, I'll miss the people in RP but as for the building, just a little..... coz it's far and the place is still in a mess! People just don't appreciate and don't take care of the facilities, etc. Very different from University life.

Thinking through, I hope that RP will have a strong prayer cell to pray for the students, the sick, the poor and needy, the fatherless, the many many people within its grounds. Dreams, Visions will reveal many more in time to come.

First Day In SMU!

First day in school and it isn't my parent school, RP. Shuan, Sequeena and a bunch of the RP students were at SMU for our first day of school! We will be back to RP tomorrow. Just came back from SMU and thank God, Dad pick Shuan and me from SMU to home. Really thankful for that.

Serious Mode! FYP in Progress!

Time passes very fast in SMU and we spent at least 12 hours in SMU. In the early morning, Shuan and I rushed to school for our first lesson at 8:30am to 11:45am. That's the timing for our lesson. LOL. It's good as we are fresh and can concentrate better, compared to the evening class. In any case, we stayed from then to around 10ish to rush our FYP. Met a couple of people at SMU. Dawn looks cool in her rebonded hair. Saw Vincent, ex-RP student and met up with Yifeng and Leong Yong, etc.

It's quite interesting as the culture is similar to RP but definitely refreshing and also dull coz it's lecture-based learning. My dream is to know all my SMU classmates by name and hopefully build strong friendships along the 16 weeks. In the midst of knowing them, I hope I can serve the RP prayer/cell group which I believe will grow in time to come.

FYP did made progress today as Shuan and I press in for more and I was much awake after drinking the Ice Teh! LOL. Shuan and I seemed to like SMU and probably will go SMU if we are financial stable. Let's hope that I can get the IDA scholarship, if it's God's Will! I love the place a lot!

More to come and FYP will soon be over. Celebration is on its way! 15 more days to go!! Love you, Jesus! Keep me strong! Poly Cell, I'll be coming after this two weeks of stress moments! Happy New Year 2007!

A Blessed New Year 2007! Indeed, 2006 was a time of restoration, a time of youths rising and even for me, a time of recharging and understand how God can speak in my life. Many interesting things happened for the past week and I'm doing my best to clear my doubts and thoughts.

Yesterday, just a few hours ago, I was at the Prayer Group Gathering, spending time together on the last day of the year, sharing about our experiences and the joy of knowing God better. Thereafter, I had a good time with Ho Wai & Liz, sharing about my life, my relationships and pouring out my desires and goals for 2007.

Really had a great time with them and went to Gab's house for dinner and watched TV for a while. Thereafter, we watched "Johnny English". Kinda fun though. Then we had our cocktail Nata De Coco drink plus some food. Had 2 rounds of Balderdash and started counting down for 2007. It was a simple affair and I pretty much liked it. Had the chance to catch up with mei and Gab.

This coming 18 days will be my most hectic time of the year and will be going for lessons at SMU on Wed, BCT UT on Thurs, Cell & Prayer @ RP on Thurs, Worship on Sunday. It's gonna be cool coz God will be my super ultra strength! To God be the Glory!
