Cypher Camp, Wen Yan & Lynn's Farewell Dinner

Today, my beloved friend, cell member, 'daughter' and buddy is flying to Melbourne to study at Monash University. It's been a great time having you since November 2004 when you first came to COOS and later on into Poly Cell!

Wen Yan a.k.a Kristen is truly someone I give my trust to and I'm encouraged by her faithfulness to the cell and of course her faith in God. I pray that as she moves into a new environment, may she be an example to the lost. Thanks for availing yourself and hope you enjoyed the farewell dinner though!

This week was a hectic week as Cypher had meetings and interviews for the whole week! Besides all these, just on Monday, 7 of us went out for dinner at Pepper Lunch before my beloved mei, Lynn, leaves for Germany for student exchange programme. In less than 2 weeks, many of my close friends are leaving Singapore for studies, etc. Pauline went back to Brisbane, Lynn leaving for Germany and Wen Yan gonna be at Melbourne. Looks like Justin and I will have more time for shopping, cycling, etc.

Welcome To The World Of Fakes!!

That was today's sermon title. Pastor Jenn was speaking though and it was great as she always speak out from her heart and being real all the time. It was a time where I asked myself about being real to myself and everyone.

As I'm searching for that REAL self, God kept telling me that He accepts the way I am. But I've asked myself, am I real to myself and others? Thoughts came and I know my past is getting me upside down. Have I been a fake to others? I'm sure I did! But I thank God for brothers like Gab, Peter and Justin. They have been a blessing to me. I share my deepest secret with them and I'm glad they consistent ask me whether I'm alright.

I've been receiving tags in my tagboard which did annoyed me for a sec and I know that the Lord wants me to bless them rather than curse them. I wanna take this time to tell those people who have something against me. If you have something you wanna say and want to clarify, email me. And I don't believe being a loser in world is not a good thing. As long as I'm a winner in Christ. To loser, whoever you are, don't be a fake. If you have something against me, approach me.

Recently, I've been blessed! Starhub emailed regarding the i-Mode trial and they decided to give me that phone for free if I sign a one year contract with Starhub. On top of that, I can also bring a friend to sign up for one year and get the same model of that phone for free. M1 called me to offer me handset vouchers and changing of plan to student plan to request that I will stay with M1 instead of transferring to Starhub. This sounds good as I can get cheaper phones and I can retain my HP number.

Though I'm living in a world of fakes, I truly believe God can bless us and mould us to become REAL to others. Hope to be real and able to share my life!

Haircut + Shopping!

It was a relaxing day as I drove Mum, Sis and her bf for lunch at granny's place. Drove Mum to work and drove home to pass the car to my dad. Met up with Jessie, Jasmine (Jessie's Twin) and Terrence (hope I spelt correctly).

Shopping was kinda cool as I find it a relaxation. The most exciting thing for the day is that I'm totally relaxed though I have tons of work to complete. I enjoyed knowing Jasmine and Terrence. It's simply easy to chat with them. Thanks Jessie for asking me out.

Had a haircut at my usual place at Bishan and cut my hair real short than usual. Anyway, this is to make me feel more relax as the hair was irritating me. Will upload pictures soon and let you see Jessie and Jasmine..... examine the twins.

Feeling excited for Tuesday as it's Valentine's day and Amphora (Band 2) is meeting up for music practice. See you all on Tuesday! As for Jessie, see you tomorrow! To all SIT students, do your best for Networking UT tomorrow!

Hilow!! It's been a week since I last blogged! Anyway, I'm tired due to hectic schedule and meetings; church practice. Lynn's hair is super nice lor!!

Practice was fun but tiring. Anyway, just a little update that I'm busy these days thus the lesser blog entries I'm posting. Waiting for more pics to load up. Anyway, thanks for taking pics with me, mei. Gonna miss her when she goes to Germany on the 28th Feb till 6 mths later.

I'll post more pics when possible. Hope I can really concentrate on PP and FYP.
