Attitude Determines The Altitude

Today, I had a tough time understanding the purpose of music practice. During the whole session, I was struggling as I couldn't identify the ultimate purpose. The intense feeling deep down in my heart tells me..... Just worship God, just worship Me..... says the Lord.

I was almost in tears but I kept it deep within me. Deep in my heart, something just tell me to relax. All of us seemed tired but overall..... I guess it was alright. Throughout the session, I felt weird, tough and uncomfortable about the noise levels. To me, it was just noise being produced. Even though I was playing the acoustic guitar, it seems like noise to me.

What was truly music was our heart's desire for God. I lay my pride aside as I sat on the floor wondering what God was thinking. Laying my knowledge aside, laying my everything to Him. As I worship God, I played the guitar. Nothing else matter. As I offered up my everything, it made me realized that all we need to do is to worship Him and nothing else. Leaving technicalities aside, leaving my self-centered being aside.

As I settled my issues with God after the practice, I realized that it's crucial to maintain that relationship strong and even with the members in the band. Most importantly, be considerate to one another's needs. Our attitude towards each other will determine the altitude of our relationship with God and fellow band-mates.

I've learned from the band today. Hope and pray that we'll sync on Youth Christmas Outreach on Saturday! Love the band, love everyone.

Be Blessed!
