FUEL!

Tomorrow is FUEL Camp and I'm packing my bag now. More than anything, it's finally here and it will be a fun time as I come to God with my 4 days and beyond. Need a break from the 'World' and this FUEL should last forever. I really do not want to go for camps for 'revivals' but rather refreshing in the Spirit and allow God to do His infilling of the Spirit.

As I prepare for the camp, I've learned many things from the committee. Even though I'm not the best admin around, I have my best sidekick (or rather lady boss) who I can complement well. Thanks Joanna for always helping me clear my admin mess and important matters.

I'll be away for 4 days and this blog will be filled with new insights as I return on Thursday. Hope to know more people and I pray that you'll be blessed through this week.

Chill Out @ Elias

Today, we're back to Elias (Rach's place) for a session of Chilling out and studying. The one who studied most was Ho Wai. LOL! Oh yeah, we celebrated Zhong Kai's birthday yesterday. His actual birthday was on 13th March (Tues) - which was my graduation day. Happy Birthday, Zhong Kai. Not forgetting to wish my dad - Happy Birthday, Dad! Today is my Dad's birthday.

While studying, there were music going on from the piano to the guitar and a short time of worship in some sense. The place was filled with energy, vibrancy and we poured out our laughters, jokes and of course, our joy! It was funny as we had so much fun ('suan-ing each other) and taking photos, doing our work and relaxing at the place. And we discovered the two 'Picasso' who drew on Ho Wai's tablet laptop.

History Makers of COOS!

Thereafter, the remaining few after Franco and Ho Wai left, went for the 'famous' Katong Laksa. I think the standard dropped. But in any case, Cheryl, Elizabeth, Christina, Rachel and I went into St Hilda's Church to take a look. Indeed, my heart just felt so comforted, remembering the times where I came to church and practice, the caroling sessions, my baptism day and many other activities. Some who were from St Hilda's Church went to COOS and I was glad to see some of them though.

This week was a hectic week. And the upcoming one will be drastically hectic. As I go on the path of recovery from my flu, cough and others, I hope I can sustain during the FUEL Camp. As I thought this week will be a more relaxing week, I was wrong. LOL! Hope I can do up all my assignments and also my tasks.

Anyway, I hope all of us enjoyed our moments @ Elias and more to come. Pasta Night, study period, chill-lax sessions and many more to come. Look out for more of our exciting moments!

Yesterday was my graduation day. 13th March 2007 set its History by the 2nd batch of RP students. As the Valedictorian, I was privileged to speak on behalf of the cohort. Most importantly, I felt great as I did many things for the school before I graduated. Indeed, it was a very special day as I didn't expect many things to be mentioned.

Besides being the Valedictorian of my school (SIT), I was shocked when SIT Director, Mervin Beng, was speaking my name out and continued with the ceremony. Guess what? I received my diploma and here it says..... Diploma in Information Technology with DISTINCTION! On top of this, what shocked me most was the Module Prize - Network Security! I didn't expect to get the module prize for any module. LOL! This really bring great joy to me.

Beyond these, I even made new friends from SEG as I practiced my Valedictorian speech on Monday itself. Receiving the award wasn't the only great thing that happened. My dearest Mum and Sister came for the morning session which I'm glad that they came to take nice shots of me receiving the diploma. Best of all, my sister (fen), has been my greatest joy in my life and I guess many thought that she's my gf. LOL! Nope, she's my dearest pretty little sister. =P

For the afternoon session, which I spoke as the Valedictorian, I really enjoyed the moment of the lifetime which out of over 900+ students, they chose me to be the one. Best of all, my best-est friend, Rachel (littlelamb) came to support me as well! As I finished my speech and return to my seat, the ceremony closed and the Board of Governors actually shook my hand and said "Well done"! At that moment, I felt that I did Jesus proud! Many of them shocked my hand coz they knew me personally. From my Principal to my school Director and other Directors, Facilitators, even my own Student Ambassadors send their congrats as well.

I ended the day at the Miracles Conference and went supper with Justin and Rachel before heading home and hit the bed. All Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for the past 3 years of assurance and more to come. King of Glory, reign in RP! I believe that day will come.
