Cell Out! : Esplanade

Woke up late in the morning to rush to church to conduct the guitar lesson at Blk 6C. Pretty cool even though there were only 7 of us, including me. They are really fast learners!! Had pre-service prayer at around 2:30pm and enjoyed myself before the 4pm, Healing Service. After the service, we went to Esplanade to have our dinner.

We ordered a lot of food and we finished everything, surprisingly! Quite amazed at our appetite and enjoyed the dinner very much.

The amount of food we ate!! Luckily it's empty!! Drool!!

We had the toast fondue and it was damn cool. That seems to be the snack after all our satay, noodles, tim sum, fried oyster, vegetables and chicken wings!!

Didn't realized that Gab really love kaya!! New technique to 'drink' kaya. Don't do this at home. LOL. I hope it's nice. Finale..... Finish up the kaya!

Thereafter, we had ice cream before we headed home. Everyone had a fair bit of laughter, food and lame-ness!! Too bad, Karen and the others didn't join us. Hope Karen enjoyed her BBQ while Susan enjoyed her day. I wonder where is Mr PC and all the other 'creatures'??

Driving Licence Card!!

Ding-Dong!! I was reluctant to open the door and through the viewfinder, I saw a postman. I thought my mum ordered some of her norm. I almost ignored it though. To my dismay, it's my DRIVING LICENCE CARD!! Oops..... LOL.

Finally!! Received my licence card!!

Now preparing to go out for SCS meeting. Gonna go SMU today!! Haha. Will take some pictures later. Become mountain tortise. Anyway, cell was fun yesterday and tomorrow we going cell outing at Esplanade! Gonna be fun!

Orchard Outing + Driving Outing!!

After the SA Open House - Crowd & Stress Management Workshop, a group of us went out for lunch and 'window' shopping. We went from Lido, Far East, Wisma, Ngee Ann City, Somerset, Plaza Singapura and Esplanade. Truly, it's like an Orchard Outing for the SAs. We were so bored that we literally walked all day!!

As we were walking through the MRT station, on the way, I saw posters by Creative Technologies..... Guess what?? The new Creative ZEN VISION:M 30GB is out soon and it looks similar to an iPod!! At that moment, I was like so sad!! Coz Creative offers FM radio, Voice recording functionalities! Besides that, it supports WMA, etc. More formats! But since I bought my iPod Video, I'll just let it pass by. Anyway, it is thicker than the iPod Video 30GB by almost double.

We took a lot of photos along our trip to Esplanade and tried the stitch assist using my camera to take paranomic pictures. I'll post them real soon [It's been some time since I last posted a pic].

SA City Outing on 7th December 2005.

Came back home, had dinner, watched TV and my dad called. Asked me whether I wanna take the car for a ride. I'm sure I would love to do so. Told him to come back after 10pm. I took the car for a ride with my dad on my left and my mum behind my dad. For once, I travelled from my place to near the Paya Lebar airport (the industries area), then to the flyover to Tampines Avenue 10, then pass by Temasek Poly, to Bedok Reservoir Road and parked the car under my block. The most amazing thing is that it's my first time using the 4th and 5th gear on road. Before this, I never had a chance to use either of the gear. I find that my driving skills need to be improved greatly. Hope to be able to practice more and excel in driving.

With this, I end off a day and I look forward to the next driving lesson. =) Hope we can go out again for another outing. Photo taking outing!

East Coast Park Outing + Fantastic Dinner!

On a beautiful Sunday, I had activities planned out and it was really refreshing! Firstly, in the morning, my dad let me drive the car around my neighborhood. It was a very thrilling and scary but nice, comforting experience. It was thrilling and scary as his car is kinda easier to drive and that means I can speed somehow. Nice and comforting because my dad didn't nag at me and he kept encouraging me. It's like our Heavenly Father!

Thereafter, had lunch at home and my mum cooked curry (didn't taste it before I went out). Met up with Justin and Aurelia at Singapore Post (Paya Lebar) before we set off to East Coast Park! Justin looked better and fit! We rented bicycles and here we go, towards one end of the park (further than Bedok Jetty). Took some pictures at Bedok Jetty and Justin took up a ship!!! Haha..... He also reached for the skies! LOL.

Went to the food centre where we had our drinks! I had a dessert and ice lychee drink! Refreshed!! Then we ride back to the other side and rested at a pavilion. And there, we shared about our lives, experiences and all the fun we had in our previous churches, present church and talked about our personal walk! It's like a mini-retreat in an outing. Awesome! We ended our cycling session and walked out of East Coast Park and headed to Bedok MRT where Justin went back in a cab after giving Aurelia and I a free ride.

Met up with Ee-lyn for dinner and dessert, we went to VietThai (if I didn't remember wrongly), ate dinner and had another great time of sharing. This time's sharing is even more fruitful than the other times we had. Usually, we meet up every three months to catch up. Got to know her better everytime we meet up. After the dinner, we went to Roof Terrace and took some photos! Then, we had ice cream Haagen-Dazs! There were so much more to share and indeed, having a friend is great. Friends are hard to come by, there we agree.

WoW!! Ice-Cream!! Ee-Lyn and I really know how to enjoy life!

Thoughout the day, I realized a lot of things about myself, God and how He really brings people together to help each other to fulfill each purpose. Like what I always hear..... You are not alone. God is there, providing His people to look after each other.

That's really cool. Really! I hope I can really fulfill the purpose that God has given me. I hope I'm not on the wrong track. Fill the Spirit Man in me.
