Gigahertz + Java!

It's Gigahertz IT Competition today!!

Our team got 5th out of 8 teams for the IT Quiz this afternoon at NTU. It was really not bad already. Considering the fact that we made loads of mistakes and we had not much experience, it's really great.

For logic programming, it was a disaster!! We didn't do and submit any entries although we knew the logic but we couldn't handle the coding at all. Moreover, it was something that we haven't touched on yet. Console, etc.

Speaking of Java..... I've got an 'A' for my Object-Oriented Programming UT (Understanding Test). I really got a shock that I can perform so well. Though I know some of my friends didn't performed well. This brings me to the issue of motivation and I need to help them. - Will think of a way to do it. -

It was really an enjoyable day, answering 300 questions at one go. I hope I can have another chance next year. Gotta run! Coz there's competition tomorrow for the presentations.

Sleepy Day..... Can't imagine why.....

I was sleeping the ENTIRE day!!

WOW..... It was really a recharging moment. I woke up at 6am this morning, saw my dad. It's as good as seeing the Heavenly Father and I greet him, "Good Morning". Had a relaxing bath, slept again till 1pm! My butt felt the heat of the sun rays. Ouch!!

Woke up and had lunch, prepared by my sister. It's a miracle if she ever cooks and it's really nice to eat!! Thanks, pf. Ate carrot cake, bought by my mum and then went to my room, continued to read the book I bought, "God Songs" by Paul Baloche, Jimmy & Carol Owens. It's a great book for song writing, even if you are choosing songs for worship sessions.

I dozed off at ard 6pm and slept till ard 9pm for dinner. Wow, I must be really tired after camps, outings, or what have you?

Waiting for 12am, 25th June to wish one of my beloved SAs' birthday..... Gonna do some packing now, meet my Tofus online.

Wah.. you must be wondering what's this equation or formula is about..

May I request that you don't laugh your heads off or smack your head or whatever?? Our cell went for dinner at hawker, followed by holland village to chill..... It was really great as Priscilla was with us!! It's like a rare event!!

After the chill at coffee club, I was shocked to see Michelle Choy.. haha.. sonicflood arh.. sonicfest lor.. mich is crazy abt it.. anyway, gladys and I went back with Gabriel.. he alighted first.. Glad and I were sleepy.. took a nap.. opened our eyes to check the location.. it was bugis.. still got long way to go.. to our amusement, guess what??

As we opened our eyes once more, we reached Hougang Central interchange. How worse can it get?? Glad and I were stunted and at the same time, laughing at ourselves.. kinda stupid but was kinda weird though.

Thank God we reached home safely via cab.. midnight charges.. hai.. could have saved that.. anyway, thx Glad for the cab fare..

Sermon + Video was great.. GREEN GRASS.. releasing soon.. it's a must to get.. great story.. it's real..

Perfect Lunch on a Saturday

It feels so great cooking again after two tiring camps, the setback of my driving test and I really treated myself to a whole lot of pasta. That can fit 2 pax though. I finished it all and I had the energy to sustain for the whole service, cell outing on that day. Cool!!

Stomach's feeling so strong these days.. back to the times where I can eat up the whole big fat cow.. lame.. haha..

Hope to cook for my tofu khakis someday!! =)

Back from Camps.....

It's been almost 2 weeks since I last blogged..

Sorry for the silence. Been really busy with SA + Cypher Camp. It was really a fruitful and wonderful time together with the SAs and even with the Cypher Campers. Been going out lately with my Tofu Khakis and the Kukunanas.. Kinda cool right?

Will update you more with my pasta delights and updates of my Tofu Khakis + COOS happenings later!

Birthdays + SA Camp!!

Happy Birthday to Sarah-Ann aka sister (RP), Sherrie (RP) and in a few minutes time... Happy Birthday to Peter Tan (COOS) and Hazel Lee (RP)!!

Haha..... I really forgotten Sarah's & Sherrie's bday.. oh my!! How can I forget?? I really pays when pple get old.. yeah.. i repeat again.. O.L.D.!! haha.. It's SA camp in the next few hrs time.. Am I excited??

OF COZ!! Been waiting for this day.. Sprained my back.. Lord, I really need a massage and healing!! I believe I'll be healed by then.. Called lots of pple today.. Hope to see all of them tomorrow.. energized.. Speaking abt birthdays.. I wonder if I wanna celebrate it this year..?? Maybe I should forget abt it and juz move on..

Birthdays.. I can never forget someone's bday.. never will I forget her bday.. sometimes chemistry isn't just a word/description.. anyways, wat am I toking abt?? haha.. i wonder, if there's no chemistry, is it possible to like someone?? I mean.. if I dun have chemistry with someone, how is it possible to like her?? *puzzled*

Dunno wat am I toking abt lah.. nonsense sia.. anyway, SA camp.. I really have a challenge and I'll succeed in this challenge I believe!!

Made Available + Being Available

Do you know that we are made available for His kingdom?? Do you know how to be available for others?? Somehow, I made History today..

In fact, the 9 of us, including the host were there..... I really praise God for what He has done for the Poly Cell.. the gathering of the peas.. We are made available from the start.. but it's a matter of choice whether we wanna be available..

I was at a few meetings today and was really impressed with the business opportunity given to the 4 of us, namely, George, Amanda, Joey and myself. I mean it's really rare or rather cool as I always get a chance to work with Amanda and George. This time, I'm glad Joey is in too.. especially this time as George, Joey and I are participating in Gigahertz Competition!!

Received glad's sms in the morning and felt something prompting me.. and immediately decided to go for coffee instead of the KTV (although I promised Dino.. sorry Dino..). It was really fruitful, spending time with some of the cell members.. especially the 9 of us.. in fact, we supposed to have another two.. sorry lah.. but think you two are busy.. but nvm.. got next time..

I made my choice by being available for cell gathering today.. although I felt that I should stay with my camp committee people, I guess God had it all planned and it's pretty cool that He brought the 9 of us for a nice coffee chat at coffee club, somerset area.

There's a difference between "Made Available" and "Being Available"..

Till then, which would you choose to be?? - Think abt it..
